Over Memorial Day weekend, I worked at Brinnon ShrimpFest and since Reed is still nursing, he got to come too. Here he is telling people about Hood Canal and water quality.
Gerry came to help me "baby wrangle" and was a HUGE help! The brown fuzzy thing on Gerry's chest is Reed's hooded head, napping peacefully on Daddy's chest.
There were lots of arms to hold Reed during the day! Here he is with Emily.
The days were a little long, but fortunately we got a great tip to go check out a beautiful waterfall that was close by. It made me antsy to get out and go hiking!!
We took advantage of Gerry's Friday off and went to the Pike Place Market yesterday. It was a great change of pace for all three of us. Reed's been doing more than his usual amount of screaming lately (we think it might be about teeth) but the change of scenery was a great distraction. And the additional bonus is that he slept
really well last night. Oh how I love sleep!
