Last week, we were at Costco, and they had some great small fishing poles (with LED lights in the reel!) for sale. We had been wanting to get Reed a fishing pole so we grabbed one for him, and then, since we weren't sure where we'd ever find reels with LED lights, and wanting to avoid future sibling jealousy, we bought one for Spring too. So we've been doing a lot of "fishing" at our house lately!
"I know where to get some fish mommy!" This got old fast so we tied a pacifier on the end (the handiest thing I could find that I could actually tie on the line, that was heavy enough to cast, and that wouldn't cause damage if it hit anything) and headed outside.
"Casting" into the water!
"Look mommy, I caught a sucker fish!"
Spring enjoyed splashing in the water...
And playing with her fishing pole in her own way!

Now that's MY idea of some GREAT fishing!! Can't wait to join in the fun, only 4 weeks!!
