December/January

This poor blog. I keep making resolutions to update it more frequently, but still struggle to do so. The thing is though, I love going back and looking at previous posts, so I know that future-me will be angry at present-me if I don't keep this updated! So future-me, this post is dedicated to you. :)

At the start of the year, we made our annual trip to the coast with friends of ours.

We made sand angels,

flew kites,

dug razor clams,

shot off rockets,

and generally had ourselves a good time. :)

I got a great pictures of each daddy with his daughter.

We dug razor clams on days. The first day, was like shooting clams in a barrel. I dug my own limit, helped dig Reed and Spring's limits, then helped a stranger (who had a special permit that allowed people to help her) to dig her limit. This was the two families' haul on the first day.

Later in the month, we got out for a walk at Machester State Park. It was cold, but it always feels good to get out and get moving in the winter!

We had some snow. It was really wet so it was quick (but heavy) work to make a snowman.

We had some other friends over too. The kids really enjoyed playing with their fishing poles together.

And some sibling cuteness to end the post.
